Goa
Goa was exactly what I needed. Situated on the Arabian Sea – Goa is a beautiful state with several resorts on the beach. While I’m sure it has many great local qualities in its cities, we mainly stayed at the resort and relaxed in the sun – or shade – it was very hot. We stayed at the Park Hyatt Goa which is on Arossim Beach. It had an amazing pool, beautiful beachside areas, and a wonderful spa. Interestingly, most of the guests were either Indian or European and on vacation – although – guessing from some of the henna art on the young Indian women there were others on their honeymoon as well.
