Shopping here is fantastic! We went around today getting an idea of outfits and pricing. Abhay’s cousin, Shruthi, came with us to check out the shops.
I’ve been to shops in Edison, NJ to buy our clothing for the engagement ceremony and I was not prepared for the amount of, and options of, the outfits here. I saw some amazing sarees and had to restrain myself from buying up everything shown to me. I tried to take some pictures – but I was actually stopped because some of the designs are so new they don’t want other shops to copy their designs.
The shops are very eager to display their clothing for you - and ensure you are seeing how it would look. This boy was so cute!
